6 tips to look younger than your age

In a society where beauty is described as strong muscles and symmetrical facial structures, everyone has this never-ending goal of keeping their beauty intact and staying young forever. But we find it hard to accept that the process of aging is inevitable. Here are a few simple changes that you can make to your lifestyle to look younger than your age.

Load up on antioxidants: Antioxidants fight against inflammation of the skin. They are considered your best friend when it comes to anti-aging. A cube or two of dark chocolate and a glass of red wine every week improve your antioxidant levels.

Keep yourself hydrated: Dehydration is the main cause of wrinkles and saggy skin. Even doctors advise us to drink up to 4 litres of water per day. Water flushes out all the toxins in your body and keeps it in optimum working conditions.

Work that body: We understand that nothing is more comfortable than curling up on your couch with Netflix. Try going for a run in the park or a walk with your dog which will do you a world of good. Exercise will keep all your muscles fit and your physique young.

Add more greens to your plate: As we grow old, our lives become so busy that there is no time to cook nutritious meals. Rather than ordering for a box of Chinese, buy yourself a green salad. Vegetables give you the essential nutrition for a younger physique.

Don’t shampoo everyday: We get that using conditioner and shampoo is a fashion these days but if you overuse them, you’ll be stripping your hair of useful chemicals. To make sure your pH levels are balanced and to get that gorgeous bounce and shine, limit your use of hair care products to twice or thrice a week.

Check your posture: As we grow old, we have the tendency to lean forward a bit. In other words, we grow a tendency to hunch. This not only makes us look old, eventually causes back pain. Try to have a straight posture with chest forward and shoulders high.
